Mass Request Program
GOD’S HOLY MASS: A CHANNEL OF GRACE, MERCY, AND ETERNAL HOPE
The Legion of Christ Mass Program was founded in 1982 at our seminary in Cheshire, Connecticut, to offer the faithful a profound way to participate in the Holy Mass, while also supporting the formation of future priests. Every Mass request is a spiritual act of mercy and communion, uniting intentions with the eternal sacrifice of Christ.

A Sacred Invitation
Our Mass website is more than a tool. It is a sacred space online—drawing hearts to Christ, encouraging intercessory prayer, and reminding every soul that in the Church, no one prays alone. Whether offered for healing, thanksgiving, the departed, or in times of deep need, each Mass becomes a channel of grace and a sacred encounter with God.
Mass is the heart of Catholic life. It is where heaven bends low to meet the faithful, and where time and eternity meet in the mystery of the altar. Through this program, you join that mystery—and help carry its power into the world.
Why Your
Participation Matters
Masses requested through the Legionaries of Christ are celebrated with care and reverence by one of over 1,300 Legionary priests serving in communities around the world. While the Legion is international in scope, most requested Masses are celebrated by priests in North America, allowing for more timely scheduling than many local parishes, where fulfilling intentions can take weeks or months. Each prayer, offering, and soul entrusted to the Legion is lifted promptly and reverently, becoming part of a sacred work that endures beyond this life.
Your support strengthens the Church’s mission and helps in our mission of forming apostles. It forms holy priests. It heals hearts. It brings the light of Christ into families and culture. Most of all, it unites you—and your departed loved ones—with Christ’s sacrifice, offered anew each day at the altar. We invite you to come to the Altar.
